Because Eager Pup provides dog training and related activities, information collected may relate to both people and their dogs.

4. Information Collected Through Specific Eager Pup Forms

ORT Registration

An ORT registration may require:
  • Odor choice
  • Test date
  • Dog's call name
  • Breed(s)
  • Dog's NACSW number
  • Handler's name
  • Handler's membership number
  • Address
  • City, state, and ZIP code
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Emergency contact name
  • Emergency contact telephone number
The emergency contact information is requested for the day of the trial and may be used when reasonably necessary for an emergency or event-related situation.

ORT Volunteer Sign-Up

The volunteer form may collect:
  • Volunteer name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Whether the volunteer can loan a pop-up tent
  • Whether the volunteer can loan folding tables
  • Available volunteer shifts
  • Whether the volunteer is a CNWI, ANWI, or neither
This information is used to organize and administer volunteer activities.

Liability Waiver

The liability waiver may collect information necessary to identify the participant, obtain required acknowledgments and signatures, document consent, and administer participation in Eager Pup activities.
When a minor participates, the waiver may also require information or consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Contact Form and Other Communications

If you contact Eager Pup through the website, email, telephone, or another communication method, we may collect the information you provide, including your name, contact information, message, and any other information you choose to include.
 

5. Sharing Information

Eager Pup may share information when reasonably necessary to operate the business or administer a class, trial, event, registration, or other activity.

  • Event judges
  • Trial officials
  • Instructors
  • Event volunteers
  • Facilities or venue partners
  • Event or activity partners
  • Payment processors such as PayPal

Information shared for event or activity administration will generally be limited to what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.
For example, information needed to administer an ORT may need to be available to people responsible for conducting or supporting that trial.

Eager Pup relies on third-party services to operate portions of its website and online activities.

Eager Pup's website is maintained by SparkDog Creative. As part of providing website management, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support, SparkDog Creative may have access to website information or technical information when reasonably necessary to provide those services.

Eager Pup uses or may use Google services in connection with the website and its activities.

If you have a concern about being photographed or having your image used, please contact Eager Pup.
Eager Pup will consider reasonable requests regarding photographs or video, although it may not always be possible to identify, remove, or prevent the use of an image that has already been published or distributed.
 

10. Minors

Minors may participate in Eager Pup activities.
When a minor participates, Eager Pup may collect information about the minor when it is provided by a parent, legal guardian, or other authorized adult in connection with participation.
Where required, parental or guardian consent will be obtained through the applicable waiver or participation process.
EagerPup.com is not intended to be a website directed specifically toward children.

Eager Pup does not currently maintain a single fixed retention period for every category of information.
